About

In 1983 – as one of the first people in Denmark – I topped my language studies at Copenhagen Business School with an International MBA from INSEAD. 

After a short period in marketing, I found that I was drawn to working with teamwork and leadership development.

Since 1985 I have helped numerous leaders, project leaders, teams and employees become more happy, satisfied and productive at work.

In 2003, I launched Direct Leadership – a training concept for middle managers and team leaders. And in 2012/13 I published the first edition of my book “Direct Leadership – Catch the Leadership Opportunities and Engage People”.

In the past years I’ve been a member of the executive education faculty at the IBSS Business School in Suzhou and a guest lecturer at USST Shanghai China and at the MBA program at Tecnologica de Monterey, Mexico City. I’ve delivered leadership courses and seminars for corporations and institutions across the world for 20+ years including the IFL (Institute for Leadership) at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Change Involves Human Nature

Many challenges are only solved when interpersonal matters are tackled. My assistance is always rooted in deep caring and empathy for what goes on in human relationships.

Keep Talking

Silence and avoidance resolves nothing. Honest dialogue does. This is especially important in negotiations.

But listening well and speaking our truth are skills that many haven’t learned.

Everything I teach, involves the skills associated with truthful dialogue.

From Deep Wisdom to Behaviour

My work has deep roots in psychology and in how leaders and employees work together productively.

Nonetheless my solutions will always include a recipe for translating this knowledge into operational day-to-day practise.

My Qualifications

I’m an expert in helping individuals and teams thrive in their work life roles and relationships.

I’m Denmark’s only Master Trainer of The Human Element®, Radical Collaboration® and The Human Element® in Customer Relations.

Finally, I am a certified Soulflow Therapist. Soulflow derives from Italian dr. psych. Roberto Assagioli’s work and is a technique to assist individuals who struggle with their own behavioral patterns. 

My consulting experience includes the roles and relationship skills of leaders, onboarding leaders, project leadership, the leader-employee relation, individual personal efficiency, team efficiency, negotiations that build trust and customer relationships. 

My Recipe

My approach is to work always with models and methods that are:

a) simple/easy-to-remember

b) have the potential to stay on a behavioural level or go in-depth

c) always have in mind that my client’s success is measured by how well their learning translates into practice.

Consultant/Coach/Writer

When I am not coaching or consulting, I am a writer.

On some days I write fiction.

On some I write or blog about leaders and employees

On others I combine psychology and language skills to help others refine their written communication.
